One of the most common challenges we hear from store owners is the lack of tight integration between wash, dry, and fold orders and the machines being used to process those orders.
Questions like:
If you’ve ever wished you had better visibility into that workflow, WDF ProLink may be exactly what you’re looking for.
At the end of last year, we launched a new product called WDF ProLink.
ProLink allows your favorite wash, dry, and fold point-of-sale system to integrate directly with our FasCard and FLEX payment systems.
At its core, ProLink is a set of APIs—simply put, a way for POS systems to communicate directly with our payment software so they can see, monitor, and interact with the machines being used to process wash, dry, and fold orders.
When a wash, dry, and fold order is created in your POS system, that order number is passed directly into the FasCard system.
As your staff starts machines—either with assigned cards or directly from the wash, dry, and fold system—we track:
While the machines are running, the order number is displayed directly on the card reader, along with a unique color code.
This makes it incredibly easy for attendants to look across a row of machines and instantly identify which machines belong to the same order—for example, seeing several machines all highlighted in the same color for one specific customer.
Once the cycles are complete, your wash, dry, and fold POS system can query the FasCard system to retrieve:
This gives you a complete picture of what it actually took to process each wash, dry, and fold order—allowing for better pricing decisions, profitability analysis, and operational accountability.
With the upcoming FasCard mobile app, you’ll also be able to start machines and track wash, dry, and fold orders without a third-party POS system.
This is ideal for stores that only do occasional wash, dry, and fold orders or don’t yet have a full POS solution in place.
Best of all, this functionality will be available at no additional charge using the FasCard mobile app.
WDF ProLink bridges the gap between full-service laundry operations and machine-level accountability—giving store owners better visibility, better data, and better control over their wash, dry, and fold business.
